Futon beds are great because they begin as a couch, creating a comfortable space for parent and child(ren) to cuddle around a book. Later they easily unfold into a twin or double bed. Neutral accented with bright tinges, walls covered in floral, checks or stripes are great for backdrops. Try to do your walls in a neutral and the accents in one bold color, such as white walls and pink children's bedding, area rug, curtains and cushions.
